Provides executive-level seating; ideal space for board meetings and provides some of the best and most state-of-the-art technology on campus
Administrative Office Suite
Staff offices for the ISUAA Talbot Endowed President and CEO; VP of finance; chief of staff/director of development; and Alumni Center are located here.
The doors separating Cy's Lounge and the Burnet Alumni Living Room are the original doors of the Memorial Union. They bear the names of the students who died in World War II. After the doors were removed in 1984 because they proved to be too heavy, the names were transferred to the Gold Star Hall.
Burnet Alumni Living Room
A portrait of lead donors Roy and Bobbi Reiman hangs on the north wall, and the additional donors are listed on the southeast wall of this space. The north hallway is the Marshall Hall of Iowa State Patents and Inventions. The building's primary receptionist is located to the north of the Burnet Alumni Living Room in the Farrington Executive Reception Area.
A perfect space for an outdoor social or meal and a popular spot on football gamedays, the Newlin Terrace has a panoramic view of the Iowa State Center complex.
Member Services, Communications, and OLLI at ISU/ISU Retirees Office Suite
Staff offices for membership; member benefits and services; Future Alumni Network; design; electronic and printed communications, VP of marketing, engagement and business development; the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at ISU; and the ISU Retirees Association are located here.
East Plaza - Facing the Building
The ISU Alumni Center has a dozen elements which mirror or represent Central and/or other parts of the campus.
Clearly, these are just a few of the architectural features of the campus blended with a number of modern elements. Iowa State is not resting on its laurels or accomplishments; it remains on the cutting edge of teaching, outreach, and service. It keeps "Science with Practice" extremely relevant, while also respecting and keeping relevant its land-grant mission and responsibilities.
This space showcases a beautiful piece of fluted glass salvaged during the renovations to one of the old Physics Building laboratories.
Horton Multi-Purpose Conference Room
This room provides seating for 20, with 10 seats along the side of the room, and can be set in multiple configurations.
Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) Office
Houses the committees of Homecoming Central, Ambassadors, Senior Class Council, and Cyclone Alley Central
Constituent Engagement, Travel, and Student Programs Suite
Staff offices for student leadership programs, alumni clubs, alumni travel, ISUAA athletics-related events, reunions, awards, young alumni programs, merchandise, and other alumni outreach programs are located here.
