Al is the president and managing partner of Finney Company, an international publishing and distribution company. He has been highly involved in his community and with his profession. He was named Volunteer of the Year by Buddies of Nashville, was chair of the Minnesota FFA Foundation, and was vice chair of the Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation. Al and his wife, Terri, established and fund the Ted and Hazle DeBerg Agricultural Scholarship to aid freshmen entering into the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The Krysans are members of the Order of the Knoll, National Cyclone Club, Cyclone Gridiron Club, and they promote ISU in their daily lives and activities. They attend many sporting, cultural, and educational events centered on, with, and around Iowa State – not only in Ames and the Twin Cities, but throughout the country. They are both proud and involved Iowa State alumni. Al has served as Chair, Chair-Elect, Vice Chair of Records, and on the Finance, Membership & Revenue Enhancement, and CEO Evaluation Committees; and has chaired and been a member of the Governance and Executive Committees.
