Geoffrey is a retired partner of StruXture Architects in Waterloo, Iowa. He was president of the firm for more than 25 years, designing educational facilities around the state. He has also served as president of the Iowa Chapter, American Institute of Architects. As an ISU student, Geoffrey participated in Varieties (sweepstakes emcee and central committee), Tau Beta Pi and Tau Sigma Delta. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. His recent involvement in the Cedar Valley community includes The Board of Junior Achievement, Friends of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, Waterloo Community Playhouse, and Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. He has twice served as campaign chair or co-chair of Cedar Valley United Way. He is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he is an elder and serves on the Vision Implementation Committee and is a member of the chancel choir.  He has been chair of the ISUAA Club of Black Hawk County for more than ten years. He has also served on the advisory committee for ISU’s Department of Architecture. He and his wife, Vicki, have two married children and two grandchildren.
