Barbara is the vice president of marketing at The Vitality Group, a health and wellness company and U.S. affiliate of Discovery Holdings, Ltd., an insurance and financial services firm based in South Africa. At The Vitality Group, Barbara is responsible for the business-to-business brand-building initiatives and member marketing and communications. As a student at Iowa State, Barbara was involved in the undergraduate leadership internship program, Student Alumni Association (now Student Alumni Leadership Council) as a Cyclone Guide and Ambassador, the Office of Admissions as a Cyclone Aide, VEISHEA, Cyclone football as an aide, and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She has been active in the activities of the ISUAA Club of Chicago. Also in Chicago, Barbara has been involved with Girls on the Run, Taproot Foundation, and serves on the board of directors for Play for Life International, as well as being involved in advocacy activities for a number of health organizations. Barbara has served on the Membership and Revenue Enhancement Committee, Alumni Center Oversight Committee, and the Awards Committee.
