Jim is a founding general partner of Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center, a veterinary hospital that employs 14 veterinarians and 100 support staff. Last year, the practice cared for more than 15,000 families. As a vet student, Jim co-founded the Student Chapter of the AVMA Scamper, a 5K/10K fundraiser fun run that is still being run today. Jim has been an ISU Alumni Admissions Ambassador, calling on prospective ISU students for nearly 25 years, and he is a donor to the College of Veterinary Medicine. He recently served on an advisory board to a local alternative education school in his community, and he has been a leader of the veterinary science course for his local 4-H Club.
