Joy is the executive director for the Moline Foundation, a community foundation that serves as a leader in the Moline community and as a catalyst for encouraging local philanthropy. Joy has served as president of both her local Association of Fundraising Professionals chapter board and the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations. She was included in the Quad City Times’ 2004 list of 40 community “movers and shakers” for her many, many community service activities, which continue today.
