Michelle is the senior director of engineering operations at Cerner Corporation. At Iowa State, she was involved in the Student Alumni Association (now the Student Alumni Leadership Council), Delta Zeta sorority, and many other organizations and honor societies. As an alumna, Michelle served as an ISU Admissions Ambassador and has been involved with activities in ISU’s Department of Computer Science. She has interviewed ISU students for employment at Cerner since 2001. She has been a Youth Friends e-mentor volunteer and is alumna advisor to the Delta Zeta chapter at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. She has been honored with a number of Cerner Corporation’s top awards – Top Gun, Millennium Club, Best Community Award – and she received the Youth Friends Employer Partner Volunteer Award in 2004. Michelle has served on the Executive Committee, the Membership and Revenue Enhancement Committee, and the Risk Management Task Force. She has been a member and chair of the Finance Committee and has served as the Board liaison to the Young Alumni Council.
