Ryan lives in Ankeny, Iowa, and works for DuPont Pioneer, leading agronomy for Asia Pacific, China, Europe, and Africa. He previously worked for Monsanto in agronomy, marketing, and strategy roles in the US and Singapore. As a student, Ryan held leadership roles for Kehlenbeck House, Larch Hall, Richardson Court Association, and the Inter Residence Hall Association, and is a member of the Order of Rose and Chessman, ISU’s chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary. Ryan is active with St. Luke’s the Evangelist church, the Iowa SIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. He received the James A. Hopson Alumni Volunteer Award from the ISU Alumni Association in 2008 and is an alumni member of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture. Ryan and his wife, Meg, have four children: Dani, Andrew, Emily, and Jacob.
