Ted is a CPA and senior manager for Clifton Gunderson LLP, handling recruiting and working with the marketing/growth strategies team. She has worked in public accounting as an auditor and in banking as a corporate controller and chief financial officer since her graduation from Iowa State. As a student at Iowa State, Ted was involved with band. She is on the board of directors and is a past chair of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Iowa and serves on the Accounting Advisory Board for ISU’s College of Business. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Iowa Society of CPAs, where she previously served on the board. She is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute and has received the Distinguished Women in Banking award from the Northwestern Financial Review. She was named Outstanding Accounting Alumnus by ISU’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi in 1996. She is treasurer of her church and is a coach for Special Olympics. She enjoys the time she spends on campus at ISU talking to students about careers in public accounting and recruiting students for Clifton Gunderson. Ted has been a member of the Finance Committee and has served as the Board liaison for the Green Initiative.
