Warren is vice president for business and finance at Iowa State University. His specific responsibilities include the University’s accounting, investments, payroll, human resource services, business services, facilities planning and management, public safety, purchasing, trademark and licensing, environmental health and safety departments, risk management operations, University Museums, Reiman Gardens, and the Iowa State Center. He serves on the boards of a number of affiliated University and community organizations. Warren holds a 1965 M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Business Officer by the National Association of College and University Officers, the highest national professional recognition that is given to an individual, and he has received Iowa State University’s Order of the Knoll Faculty/Staff Award, a recognition to an individual with a philanthropic spirit and who has brought distinction to the University through professional and personal achievements. Warren serves on the Finance and Executive Committees and has served on the Facilities Feasibility Task Force and the Facility Committee.
