Warren is vice president for business and finance at Iowa State University. His specific responsibilities include the university’s accounting, investments, payroll, human resource services, business services, facilities planning and management, public safety, purchasing, data processing, telecommunications, environmental health and safety departments, and risk management operations. He serves on the boards of a number of affiliated university and community organizations. Warren holds a 1965 M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Business Officer by the National Association of College and University Officers, the highest national professional recognition that is given to an individual. Warren serves on the Finance and Executive Committees and has served on the Facilities Feasibility Task Force and the Facility Committee.
