About Cory

Hometown: Story City, Iowa
Favorite ISU tradition: That's not a fair question: How can you not say Campaniling? My favorite, though, is VEISHEA -- who can deny a cherry pie and springtime in Iowa? I can't forget about Dance Marathon either...though not a tradition yet, who knows when it might become one?
Favorite food: This might sound cliché, but I love the mashed potato bar through ISU Dining. Mashed potatoes with all the fixins' served in a martini glass! YUM!
What I like about my job: The people and interactions from all around campus. Not only do I get to work with a great group of staff, but also students and volunteers from all across the country.
In my spare time, I like to:  I'm a big fan of golfing and boating in the summer, and there's nothing better then a ski trip to Colorado in the winter...There's something about Seven Oaks that's just not the same!
Something unique that most people don't know about me: I was on VEISHEA Exec in '04 and at the fire station when the riots broke out. Talk about a scary situation. You don't realize how much an event like VEISHEA means until it takes a one-year hiatus!
