Jan joined the Alumni Association staff in 1978. She directs the alumni travel program and plans approximately 30 domestic and international alumni tours each year. As program director for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Iowa State University, she oversees and coordinates the work of the curriculum, marketing, volunteer, and long-range planning committees. As coordinator of the ISU Retirees Association, Jan works with the Retirees Committee in planning the programs and activities of the ISURA.

Favorite food: Pasta, especially in Italy!
What I like about my job: That's easy! since I am Director of Alumni Travel, hosting ISU alumni, who are the best alumni in the world, on our wonderful tours. Also, reading and searching through hundreds of travel proposals to choose the best tours to offer Iowa State alumni and friends.
In my spare time, I like to: attend ISU sporting events, spend time with my grandchildren, shop, and travel.
Something unique that most people don't know about me: I have two different colored eyes.
