Ashley, an ISU senior majoring in chemical engineering, is the Student Alumni Leadership Council's (SALC) representative to the Young Alumni Council. Ashley currently serves as SALC's vice president after previous involvement with the Homecoming Central Committee. She is also active on campus in Alpha Gamma Delta's Rho chapter as vice president of operations, the Collegiate Panhellenic Council as vice president of judicial and internal affairs, Dance Marathon as recruitment and morale captain, and the ISU Foundation Student Committee. A native of Eagan, Minn., Ashley has worked as an operations engineering intern at General Mills in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She has also spent two summers working in production engineering and technology for 3M Corporation in Cottage Grove, Minn. Ashley has volunteered with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Children's Miracle Network, the Armful of Love food drive, the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, United Way, and the Ronald McDonald House and has also previously been involved on campus with Destination Iowa State, Engineers Week, Greek Week, and Women in Science and Engineering.
