The at-large student representative to the Young Alumni Council, Katie is a senior at Iowa State with a major in family and consumer sciences education and studies. A Maryville, Mo., native, Katie has lived in Ames since 1997. At Iowa State, she served on the Student Alumni Leadership Council’s Ambassadors Committee in 2006-07 and held the position of student director of SAA in 2008-09. Katie spent two summers as a counselor at Camp Lakonda in upstate New York, and she spent one semester in the Disney College Program, working at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Fla. She is currently completing an internship with the events director of the ISU Alumni Center.
