Lawrence recently relocated from Westminster, Colo., to Des Moines, where he is currently employed as an account executive for Learfield Communications, Inc. Lawrence, who earned his bachelor's degree in advertising and marketing from ISU in 2002, has been an active alumni volunteer with the ISU Department of Greek Affairs and the Iowa State Daily Publication Board, advising both organizations in improving their recruitment, sales, and marketing efforts. Most recently Lawrence was the architect behind the launch of the Young Professionals of Boulder (Boulder, Colo.), where he served as the organization's inaugural chairperson. He has also consistently spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the ISU Alumni Association, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and VEISHEA. He has also served as coach for the ISU Mascot Squad. In addition to his volunteer service at Iowa State, Lawrence served on the Board of Directors for the Ames Boys and Girls Club and co-chaired the 2006 Young Professionals of Iowa statewide leadership conference. He is also the former executive vice president for professional development for Young Professionals of Ames.
