As an undergraduate, Leigh was involved with VEISHEA, Cardinal Key, Varieties, and football recruiting, as well as Pi Beta Phi sorority and the Collegiate Panhellenic Council. Her experience with the greek community at Iowa State is what led her to pursue a career in student affairs. Leigh has worked with several other colleges — including Drake University, where she is the current director of fraternity and sorority life. Through these experiences, however, she continues to be dedicated to Iowa State University and appreciates her own alma mater more than ever. Leigh maintains a connection to her sorority today as a member of the Leadership and Nominating Committee for Pi Beta Phi. She has had the opportunity to work with other university chapter alumni groups and is proud to be a part of Iowa State’s own alumni tradition.
