After earning his bachelor's degree in finance and management from ISU in 2005, Steve earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He is currently a corporate/finance attorney in the Chicago office of Foley & Lardner LLP. During his time as an ISU student, Steve was actively involved in the College of Business--Business Council, Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, and ISU's Finance Club.  Also, he was and still is, an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and served as ISU's president/polemarch in 2004-2005. At ISU, Steve was also active in the George Washington Carver Academy, the Ronald E. McNair Scholarship Program, ISU jazz and symphonic bands, and the honors program. In addition to the Young Alumni Council, Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors for Minority Legal Education Resources, Inc., a not-for-profit Bar prep program based in Chicago. A native of Kansas City, Mo., Steve is an ISU Alumni Association lifetime member.
