Bobbi Reiman

Greendale, Wis.

Bobbi Reiman is a very active volunteer with Iowa State, as curator with Iowa State’s University Museums, as a Reiman Gardens Co-Hort and with many alumni and development activities. Bobbi is also an active volunteer and leader in the Milwaukee area, including serving as a member of the Milwaukee Children’s Hospital Board from 2000-2004.

Bobbi and Roy are a very effective and successful team—in building Reiman Publications, Inc., into the largest private subscription-based publishing firm in the nation; in raising their family of six children; in playing an active role in the lives of their 13 grandchildren; and in their support for Iowa State. One of the most visible and beautiful examples of their support for Iowa State is Reiman Gardens, a revitalization of Iowa State’s horticulture garden tradition that has grown to become one of the new symbols of Iowa State and a major public attraction in the Midwest.

The Reimans’ support is evident throughout the university. They endowed the Reiman Entrepreneurial Scholars Program and the Reiman Lecture Program in the College of Business. They have supported the renovation of Morrill Hall and the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication, and they recently provided the lead gift for the future Iowa State University Alumni Center.

Bobbi and Roy are life members of the ISU Alumni Association, life members of the Reiman Gardens and members of the ISU Foundation Order of the Knoll W. M. Beardshear and Campanile Societies. They served on the National Committee for Iowa State’s Campaign Destiny. They have received numerous awards from Iowa State, including the ISU Alumni Association Impact Award and Order of the Knoll Campanile Award.

Bobbi and Roy live in Greendale, Wisconsin, and their children are: Joni Winston, Lori Rosmann, Cynthia Lambert, Juli Ellis (’85 speech communication), Scott Reiman and Terrin Riemer.
