Dr. Evans has been in higher education since 1972, serving eight years as a student affairs professional and 29 years as a faculty member, the last 12 at Iowa State University. During that time, she has helped thousands of students achieve their educational and career goals, including 151 Master’s and 24 Ph.D. degree recipients she has supervised. And she currently advises 27 more. She is well known for the special care she takes with her graduate students, a great number of whom still maintain close contact with their former major professor.
