Donna Johnson Fuller

BS Industrial Administration ’68
Hillsborough, Calif.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Donna Johnson Fuller has broken barriers. She was the only female accounting student in her class at Iowa State, and in 1980 she became the first woman ever to be promoted to manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in San Francisco, Calif. Fuller retired from Pacific Gas and Electric in 1993 as its chief financial officer of the distribution business unit.

Since 1972, Fuller has also been an exhibitor, breeder, and judge with Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc., the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats. She has taken home 17 awards for International Top Cat or Kitten. She has served as a judge of cat shows around the world every year since her retirement, flying around the world to judge various shows, sometimes spending a month at a time in places like Australia, Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Fuller has been generous in her philanthropic support to Iowa State. She has established the Donna Fuller Scholarship in the College of Business, as well as an endowed professorship through an estate gift.

A native of Boone, Iowa, Fuller is a member of the Order of the Knoll and a lifetime member of the ISU Alumni Association.
