Mark FlemingDistinguished Service Award
Fleming was named a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow in 1970 and received an M.S. in applied physics from Harvard University in 1973, a Ph.D. in physics from M.I.T. in 1980, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University in 1991. He is a member of the honor societies Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma. Fleming is a charter member and past chair of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council; a charter member and the past chair of the Physics and Astronomy Council; founding editor of QUANTA, the Physics and Astronomy alumni newsletter; a member of ISU’s Order of the Knoll; and an ISU Alumni Association life member. |
