Kathrine Rollinger 2011

Kathrine Rollinger
BA Communication Studies ’98
Kansas City, Mo.
Kate Rollinger was elected president of the ISU Alumni Association Club of Kansas City in 2009. Since that time, she has worked tirelessly to maintain the club’s reputation as one of the nation’s most active. Her efforts have not been in vain.
Rollinger has brought a focus on membership to her role as president and produced some outstanding results. She has implemented an annual “call to action” meeting that has engaged more and more alumni in the club’s and Association’s work. She fine-tuned the club’s budget to compensate for funding reductions, implemented a raffle to incentivize new ISU Alumni Association memberships, and strengthened attendance at the annual “Cy-Hawk Open” golf tournament – one of the club’s most important events.
Rollinger’s affiliation with the club did not begin in 2009. She has been an active member since 1998 and has planned several events for the club over the past five years. In addition to her work with the ISUAA Club of Kansas City, Rollinger is active with the Junior League of Kansas City, Nelson Atkins Museum, and the KC alumni chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Through her work in human resources with General Electric, she is also active with “GE Volunteers” and the company’s “GE Women’s Affinity Network.” She has chaired the company’s United Way campaign for her site in Kansas City for the past four years.
Rollinger is a life member of the ISU Alumni Association.
