Jennifer Christensen’s involvement in the ISU, Ames, and global communities truly epitomizes the spirit of leadership and the joy of learning. An animal science and international agricultural studies major, Christensen has traveled to Brazil on a sustainable agriculture study tour and to France for a summer internship that enhanced her understanding of the role of the global community in agriculture. Her nominators say she is a student pioneer for international education, an insightful and open-minded thinker, mature beyond her years and often surpassing even the highest of expectations. But Christensen is not just a curious and talented student; she also has a track record of campus involvement. Jenn is president of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and has been involved with such campus organizations as Jr. Greek Council, Freshman Council, Block and Bridle, Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club, Student Alumni Leadership Council, and Greek Week Central Committee.
She is a member of the Student Alumni Association.
