A member of the ISU Foundation Student Committee and a volunteer religious educator for Ames’ St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crawford has previously been involved with the Government of the Student Body, Alpha Delta Pi, Student Alumni Leadership Council, the ISU All-Girl Cheerleading Squad, the Life in Iowa internship program, Freshmen Honors, Destination Iowa State, Collegiate 4-H, the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics Learning Community, Boys and Girls Club volunteers, Race Against Racism, Relay for Life, and VEISHEA. A journalism major with a passion for news and broadcasting, Crawford anchored the ISU TV program NewsWatch 18 in 2006 and reported for the Oskaloosa Herald Register in 2005. |
