Now, as a senior, he is the president of the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC), an organization with which he first became involved as a founding co-chair of Cyclone Alley, the popular student spirit organization for men’s and women’s basketball. Today, as president of SALC, he oversees all five of the organization’s committees and serves as a member of the ISU Alumni Association’s Board of Directors. Bishop is a past chairman of the Iowa State University Foundation Student committee, which hosts alumni and friends of the university at events. Last semester, he was a Watson Fellow with the ISU Foundation and served as a development intern for ISU’s College of Agriculture.
