Kara Gunderson 2005
Kara Gunderson has nearly done it all during her four years at Iowa State, and nominators say it is her infectious enthusiasm for the university that keeps her going—and inspires others. An accounting major, Gunderson has been involved with the College of Business as a Business Week High School Mentor, Business Career Day Ambassador, and as a Cyclone Aide—a group for which she would go on to serve as advisor. She is currently a 2004 Leaders INspiring Connections (LINC) Campus Showcase Coordinator working with middle school students. She was the 2004 chapter president and 2003 treasurer of Pi Beta Phi sorority, and she has been involved on campus and in the Ames community through Freshman Council, VEISHEA, Dance Marathon, Special Olympics, and the ISU Blood Drive. She currently works with ISU’s Academic Success Center as an accounting and math tutor and is a spring 2005 supplemental instructor for ISU’s Accounting 284 course. She is a member of the Student Alumni Association. |
