The Iowa State University Alumni Association established this award in 2003 to recognize an ISU faculty or staff member who has demonstrated a commitment to establishing or furthering alumni relationships with the university. Candidates need not be ISU gradutes, but must be current employees of the university at the time of award conferment. One $500 cash award is granted annually.
This award is a combination of two previous awards: The Superior Service Award and the Faculty Citation.
