Cyclones from everywhere showed up at our event to show their solidarity in supporting the ISU football team on Saturday. Linn, Johnson, and Benton Counties were all represented! 

We met at Third Base on Blairs Ferry starting at 5 p.m. The event lasted until 7:30 p.m., but many Cyclones stayed around well past 9 p.m. to spend time with old and new friends, eat supper, and watch the NFL game. We all had a good laugh when our loyal fans started booing the mug of former coach Gene Chizik when he appeared on TV as the Auburn coach during our gathering.

Attendance was fantastic! We gave away two tickets to Saturday’s game and a football autographed by Coach Paul Rhoads, as well as many other Cyclone prizes. Based on the tally, 65 Cyclones registered in time for the drawing along with 8 Lil Cyclones. We had approximately 25 more Cyclones (including Lil Clones) that came and went throughout the evening that didn’t get registered. But we are glad they came by!
