Alumni who participated in specific activities while attending ISU now have the opportunity to form Special Interest Societies. It's one more way to stay connected to ISU and to other alumni who share the same interests and experiences. Alumni Band: The Society of the Alumni Band is organized and operated for the benefit and enjoyment of its members and the ISU Band Program. Contact Jay Chapman at cydude69@yahoo.com if you are interested in getting involved or connect to the Web site.
Black Alumni and Friends: The Society of Black Alumni and Friends is currently being formed to increase camaraderie and keep the Iowa State connection alive. Cardinal Key and Mortar Board Alumni: The Iowa State University Society of Cardinal Key and Mortar Board Alumni was formed to bring together former ISU Cardinal Key and Mortar Board leaders for the purposes of increased fellowship among its members and increased support to Iowa State University. Carillon Alumni and Friends: The Society of ISU Carillon Alumni and Friends provides network building among carillon students, alumni, and friends; helps increase awareness of carillon activities available on campus to current students; and ensures the Campanile and Carillon remain prominent and functioning icons of Iowa State University. Dance Marathon Alumni: The Society of Dance Marathon Alumni and Friends is currently being formed to keep you connected to other Dance Marathon past committee members and dancers. Entrepreneurial Alumni: The Iowa State University Society of Entrepreneurial Alumni is currently being organized to increase the Iowa State alumni entrepreneurial spirit and keep members more interactive with fellow ISU alumni entrepreneurs and Iowa State University. Greenlee School Alumni and Friends: The Society of Greenlee School Alumni and Friends' mission is to “create a network of chapters of Greenlee School alumni and friends across the country whose members will help the school acquire internships, provide mentoring opportunities, participate in event-planning and share professional expertise, research and engagement opportunities with students and fellow alumni." The Society hopes to establish chapters in Des Moines, the District of Columbia, Chicago, Minneapolis, Omaha, Kansas City, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles. Families of the Year: The Family of the Year Society includes all families who have been named ISU Family of the Year.
Iowa State Daily Alumni and Friends: The purpose of the Society of the Iowa State Daily Alumni and Friends is to promote the publication of a high-quality student-run newspaper for the Iowa State University campus, to serve as a professional development resource and networking opportunity for current and former Daily employees, and to provide opportunities for alumni to renew and maintain social, personal, and professional relationships with each other.
ISU Alumni at the University of Iowa (Graduate and Professional Students): The Society of ISU Alumni at the University of Iowa was formed to create a community of Iowa State University alumni currently enrolled in graduate and professional programs at the University of Iowa.
