Cardinal & Gold Gala

The Cardinal & Gold Gala, coordinated by the ISU Alumni Association, is a fun and formal opportunity to celebrate and support Iowa State University. All proceeds from this event go towards first-generation student scholarships and student and alumni outreach programming provided through the ISU Alumni Association.

In 2011, Iowa Staters came together to make the inaugural Cardinal & Gold Gala a great success! There were 325 attendees who contributed more than $61,000 through auction items purchases and scholarship pledges. Combined with sponsorship dollars, almost $80,000 was raised from this event. From these funds, six $1,000 Cardinal & Gold Scholarships will be awarded (fall 2012) and the first scholarship will be endowed. With the generous support of the Cyclone faithful, all goals were surpassed for this first-time event!
