Cy's Barnyard Bash

More than 120 alumni and friends joined us for an evening in the country at ISU alumnus Don Jordahl's acreage June 6, 2008. The quaint country setting, located in southwest Des Moines, is home to an original 1870s log cabin and 100-year-old wooden peg barn. This event is an annual favorite for central Iowa alumni and friends.

Directions to Don Jordahl's acreage in SW Des Moines
2110 Army Post Road, West Des Moines, Iowa 50265

From I-35 South:

• Exit #68 (West Des Moines/Norwalk/Airport/Carlisle/Hwy 5)
• Heading east, go approximately 3/4 of a mile
• Exit #102 (South 35th Street/Walnut Woods)
• From Exit #102, turn left and go north 1/2 mile to Army Post Road
• Turn right on Army Post Road and go approximately 1/2 mile
• The Jordahl Acreage is on the south (right) side of Army Post Road
• Watch for ISU colors!

From 63rd Street South:

• Take a right at the stoplight for Army Post Road and go west
• On Army Post Road, go approximately 1 1/2 miles west
• The Jordahl Acreage is on the south (left) side of Army Post Road
• Watch for ISU colors!
