Legacy = kid lucky enough to have one or even two parents who are graduates of Iowa State University.
Our annual Legacy Migration is your opportunity to make a special visit to Iowa State University. Because we know you've probably heard lots of Iowa State stories from Mom and Dad, we think you should have a chance to see for yourself. If you're a junior or senior in high school, bring your folks, a friend, and your walking shoes and join us for a fun and informative campus visit.

8:00-8:45 a.m.
Check-in

8:45-9:30 a.m.
Welcome & Enrollment Presentation

9:30-10:00 a.m.
Student Panel

10:10-11:15 a.m.
Campus Tour

11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Lunch

1:10-2:00 p.m.
Academic Session

2:00-4:00 p.m.
Afternoon Activities:

  • Study Abroad 
  • WiSE
  • Greek
  • Honors Program

Please note: Space is limited for Oct. 3 Legacy Migration. Reservations for Oct. 3 event will be taken until capacity is reached, at which point only Dec. 1 registration option will be available.

Cost:
There is no cost to attend Legacy Migration.

Locations:
The new ISU Alumni Center is located at 420 Beach Avenue in Ames (between Jack Trice Stadium and C.Y. Stephens Auditorium). The ISU Memorial Union is located at 2229 Lincoln Way in Ames.
