2003 SAA SALC Reunion
SAA-SALC Reunion The Student Alumni Association/Student Alumni Leadership Council (SAA/SALC) held its 30-year Reunion Celebration during Homecoming weekend, October 18, 2003. The reunion was held in Scheman, with more than 85 people in attendance. The program, led by 1984 Senior Challenge Coordinator Catherine Hunt and 1983 Senior Class President Kevin Drury, included speakers Kathryn Andre--the first SAA advisor, Jim Hopson--former director of the ISU Alumni Association, Kent Lucken--the 1986 Senior Class President, Matt Bornhorst--the 2003 Student Alumni Leadership Council President, and Jeffery Johnson--president of the ISU Alumni Association. The program concluded with a slide presentation featuring memorable moments; SAA/SALC members always seemed to have a good time. It was fun to see a number of children and babies joining their parents at the reunion; we can't wait for those legacies to become members of the Student Alumni Leadership Council! |
