The Iowa State University Alumni Association invited all alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more to participate in Alumni Days 2003, May 14-16. Iowa State has formally celebrated class reunions for nearly 100 years.

At Alumni Days 2003, ISU President Gregory L. Geoffroy, bestowed a “Golden Campanile Medallion” and presented a “Golden Diploma” personally to each member of the Class of 1953 at the Gold Medal Dinner. Alumni celebrating 55-, 60-, 65-, 70-, and 75-year class reunions will also received special recognition. Other highlights included nostalgic displays, special campus tours, class dinners, learning opportunities, lunch with President Geoffroy and his wife, Kathy, at The Knoll, and a Big Band Dance in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union.
