Official ISU Ring

Top View of Diamond RingA great tradition has returned to ISU. Elements from past rings have been incorporated with new icons to create a ring design that symbolically captures the uniqueness of Iowa State University. Images of the Campanile, Lancelot and Elaine, and the green space of central campus create a striking ring.

Students and alumni may choose between a custom-made solid gold ring in either yellow or white gold. The inside of the ring may be engraved with the recipient's initials, degree letters, and class year.

Wear the Official Iowa State University Ring as a proud reminder of what you have learned and who you have become.

Hands Wearing ISU Rings

"To me the ring symbolizes five years of hard work and five years of history that I have as a student at ISU. It symbolizes the triumph of earning a degree, even after the adversity of high school when my academic future was not as bright as it was when I completed my time at Iowa State."

-- Kyle Sampson '05

"I purchased a ring because I was very proud of the fact that I went back to school after several years and worked very hard to earn my degree. I wear the ring almost constantly and am always eager to explain what it is and what it means to those who ask."

-- Sally Evans '04

"I wear [my ring] for all important occasions, like serious business negotiations, C-level meetings, alumni meetings, and official receptions. For me it is one more chance to represent my school and have a chance to be a speaker on behalf of my ISU family."

-- Alexander Bryukhanov '02
