Are you interested in continuing your education?

If so, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Iowa State University (OLLI at ISU) may be just the thing for you! Formerly known as the ISU College for Seniors, OLLI at ISU is a membership organization that offers courses in a variety of subjects to appeal to many interests and backgrounds. Anyone aged 50 or older who wishes to take courses either for fun or to broaden his or her interests must become an annual member at a fee of $25 per person. The annual year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. Individuals are welcome to join at any point during the year.

Member benefits for the 2010-2011 course year include the following:

• Receive the OLLI at ISU catalog three (3) times per year
  
• Seven (7) FREE guest lectures throughout the year
• An online monthly newsletter
• A printed monthly newsletter for those without e-mail
• Advanced catalog mailing that gives members the ability to register for classes before non-members
• Online registration for courses and membership
• Discounts at the following Ames retailers:
  • 10% off all regular-priced items at Hobby Lobby (Ames location only)
  • 10% off all regular-priced items at Ace Hardware (Ames location only)
  • 10% off all regular-priced items at Firehouse Books (Ames location only)

Membership fees can be paid by completing a registration form from the back of the course catalog or online. The fee can be paid by itself, or it can be paid at the time you register for classes. Your membership card will be sent in approximately three weeks so that you can begin using it for discounts at Hobby Lobby, Ace Hardware, and Firehouse Books.

Give a gift to OLLI!

Did you know it is possible to give a monetary gift to the OLLI at ISU program? All gifts will be placed in an endowment fund with the ISU Foundation to assist in the growth and development of the OLLI program. Checks can be made to the ISU Foundation with "OLLI at ISU GIft" in the memo portion of the check.
