"When members of the class of 1932 selected a bronze head of Dr. O.H. Cessna, '72, beloved college chaplain, to be their graduating gift to the college, they did more than honor a much respected and revered friend and elder brother; they gave voice to their appreciation of the principles of living with Doctor Cessna has typified on this campus. Few things they could have done would have as clearly attested the fundamental soundness of members of the class of 1932 as their memorializing (while he is still here to enjoy the encouragement) that member of the staff who has stood preeminently for Jesus Christ and His influence in the life of the campus."
