Ceremonies, which recognize students and alumni who have chosen to purchase the official ring, will be held each spring semester. If you would like to participate and be officially presented with your ring at the Ring Ceremony, contact Shellie Henry in the Alumni Association at shenry@alumni.iastate.edu for more information. If you have not already received a degree from Iowa State, undergraduate participants must have 60 credits, while graduate participants must have 30 credits, to participate in the ceremony. If you have any questions regarding a ring, please call (866) 225-3687.
The ISU Ring Ceremony is also the event at which the ISU Alumni Association presents the Wallace E. Barron All-University Senior Award to deserving graduates. A complimentary ISU Ring is part of the official recognition for Barron Award recipients.
