Copper Canyon & the Sea of Cortez

Copper Canyon & the Sea of Cortez
January 4-12, 2008

Copper Canyon and Sea of Cortez 1Overview
Itinerary

Overview (Return to top)

This sea and land journey combines two of North America's greatest natural treasures -- the dramatic Copper Canyon and the marine-rich waters of the Sea of Cortez.  In the Sea of Cortez, spend four days among hundreds of playful dolphins, snorkeling with sea lions, kayaking, bird watching, observing marine life and hiking on uninhabited desert islands.

After the voyage, board the Chihuahua al Pacifico Railroad for a view of the Copper Canyon, one of the world's most awesome landscapes.  Encounter the reclusive Tarahumara Indians, natives of the canyon.  Spend two nights in a lodge on the canyon's spectacular rim.
