Day 1
Depart your gateway city for Budapest, Hungary, aboard scheduled jet service. (Provided for air package participants only.)

Day 2
Budapest

Motorcoach transfer to the heart of Prague, where you’ll check in to the Hilton Budapest. (Transfer provided for air package participants only.) Tonight, attend a welcome reception.

Day 3
Budapest

Included Excursion: Highlights of Budapest. Travel through the Buda and Pest sections of the city to see its many landmarks, including Heroes’ Square, the Castle District, Parliament Building, and Fisherman’s Bastion.

Day 4
Budapest
Enjoy the day at leisure to explore the city, or join this afternoon’s optional excursion.
Optional Excursion: The Puszta. Travel to the Puszta, or Great Plain, where you will be welcomed with a reception of hot, crackling scones and apricot brandy. Afterward, enjoy an exciting show featuring the acrobatic skills of the renown csikós, or Hungarian “horsemen.” Afterward, savor a lunch of traditional Hungarian specialties complete with lively Gypsy music.

Day 5
Bratislava
Included Excursion:
Bratislava. Depart Budapest this morning and transfer to Vienna. Admire the magnificent scenery along the way before stopping in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. Explore the historic Old Town and enjoy lunch in town. Upon arrival in Vienna, transfer to the InterContinental Wien.

Day 6
Vienna
Included Excursion:
Highlights of Vienna. See Vienna’s most stately sights, including the Houses of Parliament and the many historic buildings along the Ringstrasse, one of the most impressive boulevards in the world. Visit the Imperial Apartments of the Hofburg Palace and spectacular St. Stephen’s Cathedral. 

Day 7
Vienna
Enjoy the day at leisure, or join today’s optional excursion. 
Optional Excursion: Wachau Valley. Witness the beauty of the rolling hills in the pastoral Austrian countryside as you explore magnificent Melk Abbey and charming Dürnstein. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the banks of the Danube River.

Day 8
Prague
This morning, depart Vienna for the transfer to Prague. En route, enjoy a remarkable drive through Bohemian wine country. Marvel at lush vineyards, majestic castles, and impressive monasteries as you journey toward Prague. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch before checking into the Radisson SAS Alcron. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to unpack, relax, or begin exploring this beautiful city.

Day 9
Prague
Included Excursion:
Highlights of Prague. With the guidance of a local expert, discover the highlights of Prague, the graceful “City of a Hundred Spires.” See the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, and many more of the most memorial sights of the city. 

Day 10
Prague
Enjoy the day on your own, or join the optional excursion. 
Optional Excursion: Prague Castle. Visit Prague Castle, including stunning St. Vitus Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Walk along the magical Golden Lane and descend the Old Castle steps before returning to the hotel. This evening, gather with fellow travelers for a special Farewell Reception.

Day 11
Travel by motorcoach to the airport for your return flight to your gateway city. (Provided for air package participants only.)
