David R. Allbaugh Thanks to Allbaugh’s outstanding leadership, the Waterloo community now boasts the 32,000-square-foot Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum, complete with interactive displays that bring Iowa’s veterans’ history to life in vivid detail. It was Allbaugh’s vision to do so. Now retired from Deere & Company, Allbaugh is extensively involved with the Grout Museum District’s board of directors and Waterloo Downtown Rotary Club. He is a trustee of the First Congregational UCC Church and a past member of the Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area board of trustees, as well as the Cedar Valley Boys & Girls Club’s board of directors. He is an ISU Order of the Knoll member and an annual member of the ISU Alumni Association. Allbaugh and his wife, Jeanne, have two children: Rachel (’00 animal sci; DVM ’04) and Daniel. |
