Student Involvement

There are plenty of ways for Greek and non-Greek students to get involved during Homecoming!

Cardinal Division
The traditional Homecoming competition for Greek teams is alive and well. View teams and download activity guides (HAGs) here.


Cardinal Court
Each year, Iowa State recognizes a Homecoming King and Queen through the Cardinal Court scholarship program.

Congratulations to our 2016 king and queen, David Moore III and Caitlin Theros!

2016 Cardinal Court members also included: Shelby Ulrich, Caroline Schmidt, Anna Wilcox, Kathryn Leidahl, Sam Schulte, Matt Scott, Neil Vezeau, and Dan Jacobi.


Painting Victory Lane
Paint Cyclone spirit on Victory Lane! Sign your organization or club up today! Registration is FREE for student organizations, and you are provided paint, brushes, and supplies!  All you need to do is show up and paint!


CyFactor
A variety show open to all students, CyFactor welcomes and encourages all types of talents! A round  of tryouts, along with the finals, will be held in the ISU Alumni Center Reiman Ballroom. Dates and times TBA.

Judging will be based on the following:

    Overall performance (15 points possible)
    Preparation (10 points possible)
    Stage Presence (10 points possible)
    Originality (10 points possible)
    Volume/Clarity (5 points possible)


Gold Tournaments
All students are welcome to participate in our Gold Tournaments. All events take place in Lied Recreation Center. It only costs $8 per person to participate--and you get a shirt! If your team wins, you'll also receive a free champion T-shirt!


Homecoming Dance
Bring your friends out to this semi-formal affair. A DJ will be spinning tunes in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union, and refreshments will be provided.


Movie on Campus
Stay tuned for more information about a 2017 movie. Popcorn and beverages will be provided!
