Go “on safari” to the premier safari destinations of Kenya and Tanzania, enjoying quintessential wildlife viewing, staying in top-rated lodges, and meeting gracious local people. Your adventure begins with your small group limited to 18 guests touring Nairobi, Kenya’s cosmopolitan capital. Then you travel to Masai Mara, Kenya’s foremost wildlife reserve. Continue on to Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant population, for wildlife drives in Mt. Kilimanjaro’s shadow. Crossing into Tanzania, you reach spectacular Ngorongoro, a UNESCO Conservation Area and site of the world’s largest volcanic crater. Here you may see all of Africa’s “Big Five.” Visit 31-mile Olduvai Gorge, the “cradle of humanity” where anthropologist Mary Leakey made her revolutionary discoveries, en route to the storied Serengeti, Africa’s finest park. You journey last to peaceful Lake Manyara National Park, notable for its abundant bird life. Returning to Nairobi, you toast your safari adventure at a farewell dinner.
