"The valuable and theater-oriented porcelain collection purchased by the class of '21 as their commemorative gift to the universtiy has now been moved to Fisher Theater.

"The collection, valued at a minimal $4,000, was purchased in England and consists of porcelain figures of the Victoiran era of theater -- both classic roles and well-known actors and actresses.

"The class members expressed the hope that the figures would stimulate future generations of students to become interested in the arts. Class response to this solicitation was both prompt and generous.

"The figures have been on display for the last two years in the Mini Gallery of the Memorial Union but were moveed to Fisher Theater in time for the dedication.
