The program previously known as ISU's College for Seniors received a grant from the Bernard Osher Foundation in July 2008 and is now known as the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Iowa State University. There are 121 of these programs at colleges and universities from Maine to Alaska to Hawaii.
All individuals who are aged 50 or older and desire to continue to expand their knowledge in a wide variety of topics may attend classes organized by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Iowa State University. This is a program to enjoy—no tests and no grades. You earn the satisfaction of knowing you are doing something for yourself. Classes are held in the fall for 6-8 weeks (mid-September to early November), winter for 4 weeks (January-February), and in the spring for 6-8 weeks (mid-March to early May). The cost of the classes depends on the length of the class and currently varies from $45 to $60. For more information or to be placed on the mailing list, contact OLLI at ISU at email@example.com.
