About Jeff

Hometown: Born in Laurel, Miss., and raised in Collins, Miss.
Favorite ISU tradition: The singing of the Bells of Iowa State at Commencement.
Favorite food: As for right now, green salad and water! Lighten up, Iowans!
What I like about my job: I know it sounds cliche, but I really like our people -- our students, alumni, ISU friends, campus and professional colleagues, and ISU staffers. Our people work hard, smart, and as a team. Furthermore, they sincerely love Iowa State. This key ingredient makes it easy to serve this university through this organization.
In my spare time, I like to: garden and read. I read everything. Plus, I am a political junkie. I love every aspect of politics, especially hearing the many different perspectives on any given topic.
Something unique that most people don't know about me: I sew. I love using this learned skill from high school to add beauty to our home. It is not something I do as much as I used to, but it was neat to explore and learn this skill.
