Ben is the director of volunteer development for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, which is based in Memphis, Tenn. He is charged with recruiting, educating, and supporting alumni members who volunteer at various levels within the organization. He also works extensively to promote local volunteer opportunities through alumni associations, advisory boards, and house corporations. At ISU, Ben was heavily involved with his local PIKE chapter, the Interfraternity Recruitment Task Force, and Physical Therapy Club. A native of Sioux City, Iowa, Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science in 2005. He is a lifetime member of the ISU Alumni Association, and all members of his immediate family are ISU graduates.
