VEISHEA 2008![]() If you're planning to come to the Battle of the Bands or Live@VEISHEA concert events on the VEISHEA band field stage April 11-12, please note that an official wristband is required for admission. ISU alumni and ISU Alumni Association members may purchase a maximum of two wristbands per person. Cost is $5 per person for members and $10 per person for nonmembers (you must be an ISU graduate if you are not a member of the ISUAA in order to purchase a nonmember wristband). The wristbands may be picked up at the ISU Alumni Association office in Fisher-Nickell Hall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 7-11 or at the ISUAA VEISHEA Village tent (located between the Memorial Union and Campanile) Saturday, April 12 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. You may designate a person to pick up wristbands for you, but ID is required. Please also note that wristbands are NOT required for any other VEISHEA events but the concerts on the band field between Howe Hall and the College of Design on Friday and Saturday nights. If you do not plan to attend these concert events, you do not need a wristband. The concerts, like all other VEISHEA 2008 events, are alcohol-free. Additionally, anyone attempting to bring the following items inside the concert venue will be asked to leave: alcohol; artificial noisemakers; backpacks, fanny packs, and oversized purses; professional-grade cameras or video cameras; chairs; coolers; containers; pets; strollers; umbrellas; or weapons. |
