The ISUAA is excited to partner with Google to provide personal email accounts to Iowa State alumni, fans, and friends with the address "xxx@alumni.iastate.edu." This is a Google Apps for Education product that includes free web-based email, calendar, and documents for collaborative study anytime, anywhere. This service is available to anyone who wishes to sign up for an “xxx@alumni.iastate.edu” address.

Having an ISUAA gmail account allows you to have Google Drive on your Mac, PC, Android or iOS device, and gives you a single place to keep up-to-date versions of your files from anywhere.

What is ISU Alumni Association Google mail?

ISUAA Google mail is an email inbox provided by Google, but managed by the ISU Alumni Association. Through this Google App program, you will be able to have a personalized email address “@alumni.iastate.edu."

Where do I log in to my ISUAA Google mail account?

The login interface is located at http://mail.google.com/a/alumni.iastate.edu. You may want to bookmark this page. You may also log in using the regular Gmail interface, provided you type in your full email address (xxx@alumni.iastate.edu) as your username.

Can I use my new Google account as my primary email address for ISU communications and on my directory profile?

Yes, you can. Click here to update your primary email address on your account, or send your email address update request to alum@iastate.edu.

How do I get ISUAA Google mail on my mobile device?

Where can I get support if I am having problems with my ISU Alumni Association Google account?

How long after I graduate will I have access to my @iastate.edu email address?

Approximately six months, but we recommend you move your email to your new alumni account much sooner. If you are having issues with your @iastate.edu email address or are looking to gain access once your account is disabled, please contact University IT Services at solution@iastate.edu or 515-294-4000.
